I was on my way to a meeting in Canary Wharf yesterday when I came across Mark. Full credit to him as he was standing outside in the cold trying to get noticed by potential employers.
I had my handheld video camera with me so I did a quick interview with Mark and offered to upload it onto YouTube for him.
I'm sure it is only a matter of time before he finds something and I wish him well!
Google have just released their list of most popular search terms in the UK for 2008 and "jobs" is in the list at number 10. Here is the full Top 10 list:
facebook
bbc
youtube
ebay
games
news
hotmail
bebo
yahoo
jobs
Whilst it is good to see that online recruitment has a search term in the Top 10 list it makes you wonder what sort of results a job seeker would expect from just entering "jobs" in the search box and how many additional searches they would need to make until they found what they were looking for?
