Domain names are currently big business, especially easy to remember, generic ones.
I noticed this week that resume.com sold for $300,000: http://www.afternic.com/resume.com
I am not sure who bought it yet, but there is definitely value in having a generic domain name that people type into their browser.
Given that in the US alone, the term "resume" was searched for on Yahoo! more than 460,000 times in one month (January 2007) it looks like it could well be a good deal for both the buyer and the seller.
