With Mobile Phone sales predicted to outsell Desktop PC's by 2013, and a new Smartphone or Tablet device launched almost every week, it should be no surprise that the interest in Mobile Recruiting is increasing.
Whereas the adoption of Social Media in Recruitment has gradually evolved over a number of years (although there are still lots of Recruiters not using Social Media in the UK) my view is that the Mobile Recruitment adoption rate will be much quicker.
I think the main reason for that will not be the Recruiters taking the initiative but instead it will be driven by user demand and frustration.

You can imagine the job seekers frustration "If I can do my shopping and banking on a mobile phone then why can't I search and apply for a job on my phone?
