2007 Predictions

Happy New Year to everyone!

Just before Christmas Louise Triance of UKRecruiter invited me to give three 2007 predictions for her weekly newsletter. Here they are:

1. Recruitment Blogs will become more popular as companies learn more about the benefits of blogging as part of their online recruitment strategy.

2. Audio podcasts will become more common on both commercial and corporate job sites as online recruitment becomes more interactive.

3. There will be more video profiles of recruiting companies on their own web sites and job sites as well as more use of videos by job seekers as part of their CV.

It will be certainly be an interesting year in online recruitment if 2006 is anything to go by!

Hi Mike,

Just read your 2007 predictions and think they are very accurate.

I think recruitment blogs give you an excellent ability to establish an online network of industry professionals and enhance your business opportunities.

Recruitment blogs are not that popular yet but they will become a requirement for professional development and recognition soon.
